    The core of the criticism of Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State is sending emails in violation of National Security. They can't nail her for using the server since all her predecessors from Bush onward did the same. They can't say she used something paid by the government for private gain --- Lord knows, Dick Cheney is the example-in-chief over private gain from war!!!

    What is the deal over NATIONAL SECURITY????

    To start with, that designation can be applied to any matter in the Executive Branch. It first came to my attention with the Statute of Limitation over the Kennedy assassination. In that case, we still can't see things filed under the "National Security" red letter stamp until 2029 (66 years). Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 (Public Law No. 102-526)" Sadly, little has been added to public knowledge since that time. People get worn out after a while---and that is the hope of any good lawyer wanting postponement out the wazoo in a criminal case he defends.

    The next time national security came up was in the first few months of the George W. Bush Administration. He signed an Executive Order (how awful is that!!!) DOUBLING THE STATUTE OF LIMITATION retroactive to the Reagan years. Do any of us think for a minute good old George could spell or pronounce it---much less understand the importance of such?

    All the major moves the Bush Puppet did were presented by Rummy and Dickey for his perusal and signature after the right amount of sleeping on it (for his pillow during the day)! He was famous for spattering his sandwich makings on the paperwork given to him at lunch! He jogged with an obsessive attitude. He governed by taking the most holidays for a President since the end of Ike's golfing last couple of years when no demands were upon him. Just remember: George was the DECIDER-IN-CHIEF . . .!!! 9/11 was approaching with nothing done . . .

    Here is the US Law Code on the matter:

    (a) Whoever knowingly and willfully communicates, furnishes, transmits, or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person, or publishes, or uses in any manner prejudicial to the safety or interest of the United States or for the benefit of any foreign government to the detriment of the United States any classified information-

    (1) concerning the nature, preparation, or use of any code, cipher, or cryptographic system of the United States or any foreign government; or

    (2) concerning the design, construction, use, maintenance, or repair of any device, apparatus, or appliance used or prepared or planned for use by the United States or any foreign government for cryptographic or communication intelligence purposes; or

    (3) concerning the communication intelligence activities of the United States or any foreign government; or

    (4) obtained by the processes of communication intelligence from the communications of any foreign government, knowing the same to have been obtained by such processes-

    Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

    (b) As used in subsection (a) of this section-

    The term "classified information" means information which, at the time of a violation of this section, is, for reasons of national security, specifically designated by a United States Government Agency for limited or restricted dissemination or distribution;

    If Mrs. Clinton is in violation of this, she is subject to investigation and prosecution. If she is not, it is POLITICAL BULL HOCKY in action, in my view. This is not the first time the mud of politics took a serious matter to meteoric proportions. The first in my lifetime was Watergate! Prior to my maturity we had Senator McCarthy looking for Commies under every chair.

    NC had a special place in Watergate because our Senator, Sam Erwin, was Chair of the Committee to Impeach. He quickly kept it from turning into a dog-and-pony show which was trying to happen. Each day he went to the hearings without files or a democratic flag --- waving party intent. He simply carried a copy of the US Constitution in his inside coat pocket BECAUSE --- as he wisely sated: "Impeachment can take place ONLY IF THE PRESIDENT VIOLATES HIS OATH TO ENFORCE THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES."

    How we need Statesmen of the caliber of Mr. Sam these days. I am not really sure any exist in 2015! We have puppets who posture and blow before the cameras of the Party Primaries and C-Span. We have a Senator like Ted Cruz calling the Majority Leader a LIAR. We have a Conservative Majority which can't seem to do anything but criticize and delay any measure from the Executive Branch. They are now supposed to be debating the Nuclear Arms Treaty, but it gets no press compared to Donald Trump and his big mouth.

    Even Candidates I respect for their prior service---like Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, and Mike Huckabee seem to have about as much respect as Rush Limbaugh with non-conservatives like me. Trump is gaining some percentages each week. They are losing ground in a mass of 11-1% popularity among their party constituents . . .

    Is America proving it is crazy these days or what???? These mischievous politicians are panders for our vote --- and it speaks disrespect for our ability to reason---in my view. .
