Candidate filing begins today at noon across North Carolina, with the State Board of Elections estimating that roughly 2,500 candidates will file before the deadline at noon December 21.

School announced yesterday that the so called forums at Chocowinity Middle School tonight (April 29,2025) and S.W. Snowden (Thursday May 1, 2025) have been cancelled pending the managers proposed budget.
