This Just In: Obama May be Losing the Jew Vote | Eastern North Carolina Now

President Barack Obama, long the liberal and moreover, long the favorite of United States Jews, is now seen having his impregnable block vote of Jewish Americans slip away.

President Barack Obama, long the Liberal, and moreover, long the favorite of United States Jews, is now seen having his impregnable block vote of Jewish Americans slip away.

At the heart of this new revelation is Republican Congressional hopeful Bob Turner, a retired media executive, who made his campaign all about the failing policies of President Barack Obama, defeated Democrat David Weprin, a state assemblyman, 53 percent to 47 percent in this special election. The special election, held Tuesday, August 13, 2011, to fill the unexpired term of Anthony Weiner, who, months earlier, had resigned in disgrace over the use of congressional broadband to solicit sexual communications with women, mostly on the west coast of the United States of America.

New York's 9nth District has not elected a Republican to serve that constituency for over a century. Interestingly, Republican Candidate Bob Turner has never been elected to public office, while his opponent, David Weprin, had been elected to multiple terms in elected office from the state assembly to the New York City Council. In this district, which is registered Democrat 3 to 1, and is the largest assemblage of Jewish voters in any congressional district in the entire nation, the political party and Turner's opponent was not the issue.

What was possibly at issue, well beyond President Obama's abysmal marks on his handling of the economy, was his policy toward the Jew's "right to exist" in Palestine.

At the initial heart of that matter was President Barack Obama's "Apology Tour" to Muslim countries shortly after his election to the highest elected office of the World's most influential nation. In his celebrated "Apology Tour," the United States President apologized for the past policies of former president, George W. Bush, and pledged to work with the Muslim countries to effect a resolution in the Palestine question that more closely represented their ideological goals.
Adviser Rahm Emanuel on the President's left: "Mr President, you don't ever want a crisis to go to waste; it's an opportunity to do important things that you would otherwise avoid."

When the then one-portion-of-a-first-term-senator, Barack Obama, campaigned for the highest elected office in the land in 2008, he blazed unbroken ground, when he boasted that he possessed the ability to negotiate face to face with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, with no prior conditions met, to effect the solution to stop the Iranians from acquiring nuclear weapons, which Liberals and moderates "supped up with a spoon" in that presidential election. With the Iranians very close to building their own nuclear weapons and presently, are close to acquiring a delivery system as well, it does appear that the President's sole experience as a "Community Organizer" has not rightly prepared him as a credible negotiator on the world stage.

Moreover, the President's overwhelming sophistry as the United State's Chief Executive was foisted to the front of Jewish public opinion, when he snubbed Benjamin Netanyahu to alternately be with his family. The Israeli delegation openly considered that the President wished "to school" Mr. Netanyahu on how low his stock had fallen in Washington, DC after he refused to rescind Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem.

While the consistently conservative Israeli Prime Minister is certainly no darling with the traditionally ultra-Liberal Jewish electorate in the New York's 9nth District, it does appear that the summation of the American President has totally underwhelmed this core base of his traditional supporters.

This most successful "Community Organizer," from Chicago, juxtaposed against the Multi-term Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who was also a war hero, and who notably commanded the iconic "Raid on Entebbe," may have been even more than these unreserved liberals, from New York's 9nth District, could continue to stomach.

Conservative Republicans have long been a supporter of
Benjamin Netanyahu speaking to the Joint Session of the United States Congress on May 24, 2011.
Benjamin Netanyahu. They consider him Churchillian (reference: Great Britain's iconic Prime Minister Winston Churchill, 1940 to 1945), a rare man of tremendous substance on the present day world stage populated Men of diminished character. The day after President Obama's snub, Republican's asked that the Israeli hero to speak to Joint Sessions of the United Congress, which he did with the Democrat's consent. His impromptu delivery of his acknowledgement of what it meant to be a Jew in Israel was met with a plethora of standing ovations from the United States Congressmen. The score on this political impasse: Israel - 1, former Community Organizer Obama, Islamic Fascism - 0.

Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch,a Liberal and a Jew, who is famous for glad-handing with his constituents (while fervently begging, "How I'm I doing?"), has shown a unreserved ability, since 9/11, to assess the obvious, and break with conventional Liberal dictum. After 9/11, Ed Koch was a big supporter of President George W. Bush's leading the United States of America in its universally unpopular confrontation of Islamic Fascism. Now the former mayor has lent his full support behind the Republican, Bob Turner, to become the that congressional district's next representative in Washington, DC.

I respectfully suggest: Pay attention Mr. Obama. There are ramifications for poorly considered behavior.
Mayor Ed Koch: "How am I doing?"
