The Human Rights Campaign: One Policy, Two Governors, Two Partisan Responses | Eastern North Carolina Now

Press Release:

One day after the Human Rights Campaign criticized Governor Pat McCrory for his executive order extending the nondiscrimination policy for state employees to include sexual orientation and gender identity as a 'failure,' the Washington, D.C.-based organization praised Democrat Governor of Louisiana John Bel Edwards for signing an executive order that did the same thing, calling it a 'historic moment.' In doing so, the Human Rights Campaign has exposed itself as a partisan organization driven to achieve partisan goals.
