Press Release:

Raleigh, N.C.     The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) today released the following statement on the May jobs report:

"May's atrocious jobs report is another reminder of why we cannot afford four more years of Obamanomics. A Hillary Clinton presidency would ensure four more years of stalled economic growth and stagnant wages. Not only is the number of Americans in the labor force the smallest it's been since 1978 but 12 times the number of Americans gave up looking for a job as those who found one. Republican leadership in North Carolina has made our state's economy the fastest growing in the nation in spite of the failed Obama policies that have kept struggling Americans from finding work. North Carolina's economic growth is evidence we need Donald Trump in the White House to create jobs and turn our economy around." — NCGOP Chairman Robin Hayes
