Beaufort County Sheriff's Department makes Drug Bust in Tera Ceia Area | Eastern North Carolina Now

    On September 30, 2011, Investigators
Wilbert Lee O'Neal Jr.
with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit arrested Wilbert Lee O'Neal Jr., age 28, of 371 Hwy 99 N Pantego, Ronald Ray Davender, age 56, of 1888 Swamp Rd. Pantego, Mary Louise Davender, age 59, of 7399 Terra Ceia Rd. Pantego, Melvin Davender, age 60, of 7399 Terra Ceia Rd. Pantego, Ronnie Lee Cutler, age 55, of 1886 Swamp Rd. Pantego, and Willie Ralph Spruill Sr., age 60, of Durham, NC.

    Their arrests stemmed from officers conducting a search warrant at 1888 Swamp Rd. Pantego; the residence of Ronald Ray Davender. As a result of the search Investigators seized over 24 grams of cocaine, marijuana, digital scales, $1,097 and three firearms. Ronald Davender, Mary Davender, Melvin Davender, Ronnie Cutler and Willie Spruill were charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana up to ½ Ounce and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ronald Davender, Melvin Davender and Mary Davender were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under $2,500 secured bonds. Ronnie Cutler and Willie Spruill were released under $2,500 unsecured bond.

    Wilber O'Neal Jr. was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana up to ½ Ounce and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. O'Neal was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
