be on post-release supervision for 5 years and a registered sex offender for 30 years. The evidence presented to the court revealed On July 19th, 2024, the Defendant, Ryan Austin Stalls, in acts of domestic violence, tortured and attempted to kill his girlfriend, the victim, over the course of eight hours. The Defendant eventually turned toward her 12-year-old child, another victim, attempting to kill the child by threatening to break the child's neck through physical force. After the assault, the Defendant fled the scene, stealing the victim's car, but was captured by Beaufort County Sheriff's Office and remained in custody following his capture.

District Attorney Anglim expressed that the facts and circumstances of this unfortunately reflect a depraved narcissistic level of inhumanity that Stalls has toward fellow humans. During the sentencing the Defendant showed no remorse for the barbaric acts he inflicted upon his victims. Beaufort County is safer with Stalls behind bars.

Anglim said that he is continually grateful and amazed by the efforts put forth by the law enforcement officers involved in their pursuit of justice for the victims in this investigation."
