A Response: For Those That Give a Damn | Eastern NC Now

After a doctor's appointment recently, while sitting in the parking lot, I lit up a cigarette and visited the Drudge Report. Upon reading of China's most recent threat to America, I logged onto Facebook and this is what I typed...

The following quote is from an article syndicated to Yahoo News, originally published in an English-speaking Beijing newspaper, and titled: "'Rookie' Trump must fall into line: China media"

  • "Donald Trump is a 'diplomatic rookie' who must learn not to cross Beijing on issues like trade and Taiwan, Chinese state media said Tuesday, warning America could pay dearly for his naivety."

My response, for those that give a damn...

China has been threatening for quite some time, but they're doing it vicariously, using their state-ran media to issue these warnings. Initially, I understand why these threats would be covered by our media, but it's really an issue of national security at this point, especially after several similar threats from different mediums inside China...

Democrats are sooo offended that Trump accepted a congratulatory call from Taiwan, complaining that Trump is threatening our relationship with China. Sorry for the language, but we're China's bitch, and that's the extent of our trade relationship with them. And not one of these hypocritically bastards are complaining about the amount of arms and ammunition sent into Taiwan & China, considering we'll probably be at war with them in 10 years if Captain Queenan (Martin Sheen) was correct in The Departed. What's ironic, for anyone who has seen The Departed, one of my top two favorite movies, alongside JFK, is that in the movie, the bad guys are trying to sell microprocessors to the Chinese and the FBI is trying to stop the deal from going down. Unbeknownst to the FBI, and the Chinamen, the "microprocessors" are actually light fixtures and the argument today is over Trump accepting a call from Taiwan. But the point remains that the movie portrayed the selling of arms technology to China as being inherently bad, and Hollywood usually represents the opinion of the Democrat party well. But our administration has been selling to China and Taiwan for years without condemnation from establishment Democrats...

Several talking-heads in our #msm say we should take care not to antagonize China on this, but I'd like to believe that our country still houses real men and brave women as a majority. And although evidence suggests otherwise, I'm thankful that Trump is so unconventional. I'm overjoyed that he's not following the status-quo. Thank God he isn't "falling in line..."

P.S. (as of this were a letter): I'm so passionate about The Departed, I typed all this on a cell phone in a parking lot.)

Regardless of who was your champion in this past presidential election: Will you recognize the duly elected leader of the Free World?
I will never recognize President Donald J. Trump because he is not worthy.
I will recognize President Donald J. Trump, providing he respects the office in which he holds.
"At this point, what difference does it make?"
