    Crave is honored to bring the taste of Italian Cuisine to the Uptown district. Located at 409 S Evans Street, in the Uptown District, Crave will be offering homemade Italian dishes, for reasonable prices. The menu will showcase everything from a Spaghetti Bolognaise to infused Cheese Fried Ravioli, to our Salmon Zucca served with Kohlrabi Noodles.

    "Chef Mike's menu will showcase his flair for regional Italian specialties, as well as homemade bread and desserts. Crave will offer a distinctive perspective on Italian cuisine, presented in an urbane space where old-world charm is brought into modern design," states Michael Anderson, co-owner of Crave.

    "We are passionate about fresh flavors and locally-sourced seasonal ingredients to create a true range for our slant on Italian favorites to new ideas," says Anderson. "While remaining faithful to the heritage of Italian-influenced foods, we'll add our own simple interpretations: our food and drink menus will be intriguing, yet approachable."

    Throughout the split one level restaurant, diners can savor a full range of traditional and original Italian foods (meatballs sautéed in a slow-cooked, homemade tomato sauce) to a Italian Grinder/Paninis and signature main dishes including homemade Lasagna (made with pasta, fresh cheeses and filled with homemade sauces) to a fresh Italian spin on Shrimp and Grits.

    Crave's interior - an artful blend of mixed-use materials like brick, repurposed and homemade furnishings- brings an Italian allure to a modern sensibility. Brick layered walls, comfortable inclusive table settings for a perfect date night or even enough space to have a celebration. The red stain pendant lighting plays into the sensuous atmosphere. the perfect environment for enjoying a flavorful multi-faceted menu that includes an extraordinary selection of unique cocktails, beers, and wines.

    Crave's menu and décor reflect all the richness of Italy: the region's long history of nomadic travelers, cross-cultural cuisine, and breathtaking scenery. Crave is open starting at 11 am for lunch and dinner beginning, December 4, 2017, Monday through Saturdays.
