Planned Parenthood Issues the Most Morally Blind Tweet Regarding March for our Lives | Eastern North Carolina Now

    On Saturday, Planned Parenthood, which openly supported the youths participating in the March For Our Lives event, issued a tweet in support of the march that was just brutal in its simple denial that a child in the womb is alive. Planned Parenthood tweeted:

   

Everyone has the right to lead a life that is healthy & free from violence. We fight for interconnected issues that affect our patients & communities, including repro health, gun violence prevention, immigration, & racial justice.     Having a life free from violence doesn't count for the hundreds of thousands of babies dismembered by Planned Parenthood practitioners, of course.

    Planned Parenthood had been working to support the leftist students who were to appear at the March For Our Lives event for nearly a month. As Buzzfeed reported at the end of February:

• Giffords, an organization started by former US Rep. Gabrielle Giffords that fights gun violence, is working with Everytown and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America to plan the main march on Washington - as well as sister rallies across the country ... A spokesperson for Planned Parenthood, which has not directly been in touch with the students, said it has been in contact and offered support to Giffords, which is spearheading the national coalition of groups working with March for Our Lives. The spokesperson also said the group is "teaching and hosting trainings" for young activists across the US "to keep momentum going so they don't get burned out."

    One week after the Valentine's Day school shooting in Parkland, Florida, Planned Parenthood tweeted:

    Within the tweet, Planned Parenthood stated, "As of 2013, the United States has averaged nearly one school shooting per week." That information, as The Daily Wire reported, was highly misleading. The tweet buttressed the claim by linking to an article from Everytown for Gun Safety that inflated its claims by using broad parameters to define "school shootings."
