Missing Person: Monica Woolard Godley | Eastern North Carolina Now

Update: Ms. Godley was found in Stokes County in an abandoned house, deceased, and apparently by her own hand. Ms Godley, sadly, is no longer a missing person.

    The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing person. 46 year old Monica Woolard Godley left Beaufort County on September 4th, 2018 and traveled to Pine Hall, NC in Stokes County. She was last seen on or about September 4th or 5th of 2018 at a friend's home in Pine Hall.

    Monica who has not been heard from since leaving home, normally has blonde hair but dyed it auburn/ brown before leaving Beaufort County. If you know the whereabouts of Monica Woolard Godley, please call the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (252) 946-7111, the Stokes County Sheriff's Office at (336) 593-8130 or your local law enforcement agency.

You probably aren't aware of this. Monica was buried Today, Tuesday October 9th.
I would hate for a family member or friend see the missing notice, and have to relive the sad situation.
