    Mr. Robert "Rob" Alexander Andrews, Jr., age 36, a resident of Washington died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center.

    A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory.

    Mr. Andrews was born in Beaufort County on September 13, 1982 to Robert Alexander Andrews, Sr. and Teresa Lynn Smith. He was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 2000. On October 6, 2007 he married Jessica Elaine Tigchelaar. Mr. Andrews worked at PCS as an Acid Plant Operator for 11 years.

    Survivors include his wife, Jessica T. Andrews of the home, his mother, Teresa Lynn Smith of Washington, his father, Robert "Buck" Andrews, Sr. of Washington, three sisters, Debra Woolard and husband Lee of Washington, Tina Prestridge of Cedar Point, Trudy Gooding of Washington, his in-laws, James and Elaine Tigchelaar of Washington, two sisters-in-law, Jaime Davis and husband Danny of Wendell, Erica Lassiter and husband Mike of Washington, several nieces and nephews, and his fur babies, Max, Molly, and Anabelle.

    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    We would like to celebrate Rob's life by showing our team spirit. Please wear your favorite sports gear. No Yankees, Steelers or Pittsburgh Penguins. (Just kidding) His favorite teams:
