Recently, bipartisan legislation introduced by Senators Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), members of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, that would extend eligibility for American Legion membership to honorably discharged veterans who served since World War II passed the Senate.
