   These latest announcements from the Chocowinity Primary School, via the Beaufort County School System, reminds us that schools are a focal point of activity.

Steppin' Out


Chocowinity Primary School students rehearse their act for the annual Steppin' Out talent showcase on April 20. The annual event features students from across the county and is presented by the Beaufort County Education Foundation and Beaufort County Schools.


Athletic Awards

Lauren Carver, a prekindergarten student at Chocowinity Primary School, does her best to catch a bevy of elusive bubbles while enjoying play time on a warm spring afternoon.


Cps Rocks!


Student Shawn Gerard eyes a fossil specimen displayed by amateur paleontologist George W. Powell Jr. during Chocowinity Primary School's Rock Carnival. Powell represented the Aurora Fossil Museum during the event, which was held April 4-5.


Easter Bunnies

Zymyr Freeman, a student at Chocowinity Primary School, magically becomes a grinning hermit crab while on a class trip to the North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores recently.


Smile!


Chocowinity Primary School student Jamari Nelson is caught with a mouthful of paraphernalia during a recent visit by Smile North Carolina, a group of mobile dentists. The organization examined 90 CPS students and shared the importance of good dental hygiene during its visit to Beaufort County Schools.
