Press Release:

It has be an honor working for you all during this primary election. I appreciate how hard each of you worked to further our cause, saving the United States of America. I have been inspired by your devotion to our great nation and to the task of holding our government responsible to the people, and I am humbled by the fact that nearly 19,000 of you cast your vote for me.

Although we did not prevail, the fight must continue. We must not relent in our efforts to return to our founding principles of limited government, more freedom, and citizen legislators who perform a public service by going to Washington and then go home to their real lives. We must return to the Constitution. Remember, it is the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution that made this country great, a beacon of light for all who long for freedom to see.

Today’s fight is to replace President Obama. We must work to ensure that Mitt Romney is elected in November. It is critical that Pat McCrory is elected Governor of NC, and that we maintain and expand our majorities in both the US House and in the NC General Assembly. And finally, we must help where we can to elect conservative candidates to the US Senate so that we can take the majority there as well. However, it is not enough that a person have an (R) next to their name, we must ensure that they vote conservative, not just talk conservative. That will take work on our part, following what they do rather than what they say. We must demand that they stand before us on a regular and recurring basis to explain what they are doing and why. We must demand that they listen to us and take our concerns to Washington, to speak for us. If they won’t come to us then we must go to them. Bus loads of us showing up at their offices in Washington or in their home district should get their attention.

It is time for the people to take back their government.

Thank you again for your support and your vote,

   Yours truly,

      Frank Palombo
