One Week Later Cunningham is Still Refusing to Address The Democrat’s $3 Trillion Relief Package | Eastern North Carolina Now

    RALEIGH NC     It's been seven days since Cal Cunningham's Democratic allies passed their deceptive $3 trillion COVID-19 relief bill and we're still waiting on answers. Cunningham has been a champion for Nancy Pelosi and her cronies since her earliest relief packages. Now, when the House passes a bill that includes zero input from Republicans or the White House, Cunningham's hiding out and refusing to respond to his liberal buddy's partisan wish list.

    "It's been one whole week since the U.S. House passed their socialist spending plan and Cal Cunningham is still refusing to tell us where he stands on the HEROES Act," said NCGOP spokesman Tim Wigginton. "This so-called 'HEROES' act provides unregulated funding for states that could be spent on Planned Parenthood and mentions cannabis more times than it does jobs. If Cunningham considers it heroic to prioritize these initiatives over real COVID-19 driven relief, then the people of North Carolina deserve to know."

    The Democrats continue to play partisan politics in the middle of a pandemic and Cunningham is refusing to call them out on it. The HEROES Act is nothing more than political propaganda. Amnesty for undocumented immigrants and tax giveaways for big blue states aren't necessary for combatting the Coronavirus pandemic, yet the Democrats snuck it in their plan. It's past time for Cunningham to own up about whether he supports the HEROES act.
