Mr. James Earl Bullock | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. James Earl Bullock, age 66, a resident of Maysville, NC, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at his home.

   There will be a celebration of his life on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC. TJ Chiesa, Nicholas Chiesa, William Chiesa, Bobby Leader, Johnny Leader, Paul Leader, Robert Leader and Brandon Spain will service as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 Hwy. 264 E., Washington, NC. The family will also receive friends at the home of David and Georgeanna Terry, 1481 Gosse Creek Road, Robersonville, NC.

    Mr. Bullock was born November 18, 1945 in Stokes County, son of Jack and Magnolia Bullock. He was one of 21 children. James worked as a mechanic at Bear Wheel Alignment, Jacksonville, NC and retired after more than forty years of service.

    Mr. Bullock is survived by his daughter, Jo Ann B. Chiesa of Hubert, NC, his sisters, Christine Cowen of Aurora, NC, Sadie Leary of Williamston, NC, Mavis Moore of Greenfield, IN and Janie Turner of Stephen City, VA, two grandchildren, Nicholas and William Chiesa. He had four step children, Roger Dail Spain of Bethel, Lisa Mallory and Jill Winder both of Mechanicsville, VA and Teresa LeBlond of Beargrass, NC.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.

    Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
