The increasing radicalism of the Marxist thugs at BLM is leading thinking people of the moderate left to back off previous support for them. At the forefront of this is the leader of the UK's center-left Labour Party, Keir Starmer, who is now saying that while he took a knee to "support the moment" he emphatically does not support BLM as a movement.

In Europe, BLM organizations have conducted a widespread war on history or Maoist style cultural revolution. In the UK, BLM has attacked the country's most important memorial to World War I and II dead, the Cenotaph in London, other war memorials, and statues to people as diverse as Sir Winston Churchill, Queen Victoria, Lord Robert Badin-Powell, founder of the Boy Scouts, and Oliver Cromwell.

American Democrats, however, are unlikely to adopt a similar dose of common sense.
