Carlton Ernest “Carlie” Ambrose, age 60, a resident of Washington, NC died Saturday September 6, 2025 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.
Mrs. Lillie (Lil) Jordan Carowan, age 100, a long-time resident of 179 Pungo View Road, Belhaven, died peacefully at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital on September 7, 2025.
Carolyn Fowlkes Moore, age 78 a resident of Washington, died Friday, September 5, 2025, at Duke University Hospital.
Mr. Donald “Don” Lee Bonner, age 67, a resident of Aurora, NC died Thursday September 4, 2025, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern.
Peggy Sue Winstead, age 73 a resident of Washington, died Friday, September 5, 2025, at her home.
David Michael Brown, age 71 a resident of Williamston, NC died Sunday August 31, 2025 at River Trace Nursing & Rehabilitation in Washington.
James Thomas “Jim” Landen Jr. passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in Greenville, NC. He was 61.
Elton Tex Barnes, age 74 a resident of Roper, died Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.

Suzanne Edith Maurizzio born October 25th, 1950 in Middletown, New York to the late Marjorie Dobert and Paul Bender, peacefully passed away August 27th, 2025 in Washington, North Carolina.
Mrs. Joyce Hardee Moret, 79, of Washington, NC died peacefully at home on Tuesday August 26, 2025, after battling Alzheimer’s/dementia.
