    Mrs. Wilma Jean Williams Elliott, age 79, a resident of 1340 Nathan Roberson Rd, Williamston, NC died Tuesday morning, February 9, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

    A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Piney Grove Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Larry Stephens. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM until time of the service at the church and other times at the home of her son, David Draper.

    Mrs. Elliott was born August 17, 1941, in Lansing, MI, daughter of the late Joseph Arthur Williams and Betty Gilbert Williams. She was a 1959 graduate of Charlotte High School in Michigan. Mrs. Elliott relocated to the Farm Life area and retired from Weyerhaeuser in Plymouth. She was an active member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, volunteered with The Message of Easter and was a Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Senior Saints Club, Senior Circle, Widows Club, a board member of the Martin Memorial Library and a member of the Farm Life Ruritanettes. She volunteered with Martin General Hospital. She enjoyed baking, knitting and crocheting.

    She is survived by her sons: Jackie Draper, II of Holland, MI, Ronald Draper (Kathy Croci-Repp) of Holland, MI, David Draper (Chasity) of Farm Life and Michael Elliott (Nicole) of Bear Grass; her grandchildren: Erin Smith (Jason), Ezekiel Draper (Ahkarree); Kimberly Smith, Benjamin Draper (Heather), Alexandra Draper (Cody Olsten), Robert Repp (Tessa), Emma Southwood (Scott), Logan Draper, David Joseph Draper, Bailey Elliott and Jeremy Elliott. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and her sister: Barbara Wright of Lansing, MI. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Benjamin Arthur Williams.
