McCrory Raises $1.24 Million | Eastern NC Now

    Charlotte     North Carolina US Senate Candidate and Former Governor Pat McCrory announced today that his campaign will report raising $1.24 million during the second quarter of 2021, his first quarter of the campaign.

    The effort was largely fueled by in-state donations, which account for over $1,000,000 of the total fundraising haul.

    Nearly 94% of contributions were $250 or less, with almost 8,000 total donors supporting the campaign, demonstrating a broad and deep network of support for Gov. McCrory within North Carolina from both small and large donations.

    "Our campaign as a Washington outsider who has solved real problems is resonating across North Carolina. We've proven that we are the only candidate with the record of accomplishments and the ability to marshal the resources necessary to win a statewide primary and general election against the well-funded far-left. I'm especially encouraged by the deep level of small-dollar donations we received."

    The 2022 US Senate race in North Carolina is one of the most closely-watched in the country. Public and private polling have consistently shown Gov. McCrory with large, 20-35 point leads over his primary opponents.
