    (Raleigh, NC)     Dan Forest, Republican nominee for NC Lt. Governor, today announced that Ralph Reed of the Faith and Freedom Coalition will travel to North Carolina for his campaign.

    Mr. Reed will headline a fundraising reception for the Dan Forest campaign on Friday, October 5th, at the home of Mark and Hope Kemp in Burlington, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

    This is a ticketed event, people must RSVP by emailing neal@danforest.com. Tickets start at $100.00 per guest.

    Ralph Reed founded the Faith & Freedom Coalition two years ago in Atlanta, GA, and serves as its chairman. Reed is also chairman and CEO of Century Strategies, LLC, a public relations and public affairs firm. Perhaps best known as executive director of the Christian Coalition from 1989-1997, he built one of the most effective public policy organizations in recent political history. He is the best-selling author and editor of five books, including his latest novel, "The Confirmation." He is married to his wife Jo Anne and is the father of their four children.

    Dan Forest won the Republican nomination by winning 96 of 100 counties in the GOP primary runoff election in July. He and his wife Alice live in Raleigh with their four children.
