Beaufort County Conservative Republican Club | Beaufort County Now | Our next meeting is Thursday November 18 at 6:00 PM at King Chicken Restaurant.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
News Release:

Our next meeting is Thursday November 18 at 6:00 PM at King Chicken Restaurant.

I have invited the three Republicans who may be running for school board by email and US Mail. To date I do not have a response from any of the three. They did not attend the September or October meetings.

We now have a grand opportunity to make changes in the policy of the school board depending of whether or not the three will attend. If they attend and we are not satisfied with their presentation on issues OR if they refuse to attend. We may need to be recruiting school board candidates. Recruitment of candidates and political strategy are very sensitive and complex issues. It is not wise to discuss these things on line in a somewhat public forum.

However, we will get into this in detail at the Thursday night meeting.

Sheriff candidate Rogerson is scheduled to attend this meeting.

You are our most important asset in recruitment. All of us together can find candidates. We may need an additional three candidates. We definitely need someone in the Aurora area to run. Make a list of names and either you call them or someone with the Club will call them.

We need to decide whether or not to meet in December. Candidate filing, for all seats, begins on December 6a nd ends on the 17th.

The police committee meets on Tuesday November 16 at 6:00 PM at the Commissioners Meeting Room on West second street.
