Google is one of Big Tech's worst censorship offenders, removing or hiding information that the left or big government does not want you to see. Information on the coronavirus has been an obvious place that Google censorship has been seen, but it covers lots of other areas too, like climate alarmism.
US internet researcher Dr. Robert Epstein has termed what is offered by Google as the "Search Engine Manipulation Effect". Others have called Google the online prison library.
The main full blown search engine alternatives to Google are Bing and Yandex. Others such as DuckDuckGo may have privacy filters and other positive aspects but primarily rely on Bing results for the actual search. While Bing is owned by Big Tech's Microsoft, and Yandex is Russian, both are so-far surprisingly uncensored.
