Dan Forest Endorsement Video from Governor Mike Huckabee | Eastern North Carolina Now

For Immediate Release

(Raleigh, NC)     Dan Forest, Republican nominee for NC Lt. Governor, today released an endorsement video from Governor Mike Huckabee.

Governor Huckabee drew a sharp contrast between Dan's experience and that of his opponent, stressing the need for North Carolina to elect a candidate for Lt. Governor who has "real world" experience, rather than experience working in the bureaucracy of state government.

At the conclusion of the video, Dan Forest appears with Gov. Huckabee, and they both endulge in Chick-fil-A products (sandwich and soft drink) - and Gov. Huckabee says "Just vote your values."

Dan Forest is the Republican nominee for the office of North Carolina Lt. Governor. He earned the Republican nomination by winning a commanding 96 of 100 NC counties in the second (July 17th) primary election after traveling over 150,000 miles and visiting nearly all 100 counties during the campaign. Dan is a leader in the business community having served as Office President and Senior Partner of the state's largest architectural firm. Dan is active in his community and church and is the founder and current president of the Triangle Leadership Forum and the former chairman of the board of Wake Forest Pregnancy Support Services. Dan and his wife, Alice, reside in Raleigh, along with their four children, ages 7 - 19.

Well, Jeff you might as well vote for Obama, if you don't vote for Romney/Ryan team. Just saying you'll split the vote. Our country can't stand 4 more years of obana's policies.

Well Jeff, tell us how you really feel next time.

I hope you are not right.

I generally like Huckabee, although, I did not support him in the last presidential primary, which was tough for me because I almost felt to follow Chuck Norris, because ... he is Chuck Norris.

I will probably vote Libertarian in this race, and it is because Forest is constantly draping himself around Mike Huckabee. When he ran for president, Huckabee was described by the conservative Club for Growth as a ''Christian socialist''. The Club for Growth is some of the best Reagan conservatives out there. The major conservative website RedState in this election cycle has hung a similar term on him. This election cycle, Huckabee has been out consistently endorsing the establishment candidates in the key establishment vs. Tea Party races. As a Tea Partier, I have a hard time voting for any candidate who closely associates himself with Huckabee. Forest has duped a lot of Tea Partiers, but his palling around with Mr. Anti- Tea Party of 2012, Mike Huckabee shows he is either clueless or a phony.
