ENCNow
Edith Gertrude Boyd Pinkham was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was loved by all who met her. She left the world on January 14, 2022. She lived a Godly life and loved Jesus with all her heart and soul. She prayed for her family ceaselessly and listened to their good and bad times in this life with love in her heart. Her love for her family extended over to her love for her church family at Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church in Pinetown.

Mrs. Pinkham was born to James Weaver and Lydia Boyd on January 5, 1923. She married William Howell Pinkham who predeceased her in 1987 and together they had five children. Dallas L. Pinkham, who predeceased her, Judy Pinkham Avery and husband Reid, Wayne Howell Pinkham, and wife Connie, Larry Van Pinkham and wife Dawn, and Peggy Pinkham Nobles. She had sixteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

We will greatly miss her, and there will always be a void in our hearts but know that she is finally at peace.

The Lord has promised good to me

    His word my hope secures.

He will my shield and portion be,

    As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,

    And mortal life shall cease

I shall possess within the veil, A life of joy and peace.

When we've been there ten thousand years

    Bright shining as the sun,

We've no less days to sing God's praise

    Than when we've first begun

We thank Brandy Nobles, Denise Beaman, and aids from Hospice for assisting and taking care of our beloved mama.

We also thank River Trace Nursing Home for going through this with us with all the ups and downs of her health.

A private service will be held and in Lieu of flowers please donate to help someone in need.
