‘Tyrant On The Run’: Internet Blasts Trudeau For Fleeing Capital As ‘Freedom Convoy’ Protest Heads His Way | Eastern NC Now

    Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took heat online this weekend after the leader reportedly fled Canada's capital for a "secret location," averting any confrontation with the numerous truckers in a "freedom convoy" protesting the nation's vaccine mandates.

    Trudeau, who days ago dismissed the protesting truckers and their supporters as a "small, fringe minority," was ripped online as a "coward" and fleeing "tyrant" over his escape from Ottawa.

    The leader, according to reports, left the location over "safety concerns," though the protesting has been peaceful.

    Popular Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson commented, "Come out of hiding puppet and face the music [Justin Trudeau]." In another post, Peterson added that the Canadian leader was "literally in hiding."

    "Never seen anything like it. No wonder the coward fled," posted Ezra Levant of Rebel News.

    "What type of leader goes into hiding when the entire country is calling him out," questioned Canadian researcher and columnist Dr. Debra Soh.

    "Running away and hiding is the worst thing #Trudeau could have done. In pivoting from authoritarian bully to shrinking violet at the slightest pressure, he has shown the world what a coward he is and become a laughing stock. He won't live this down," wrote Pat Condell.

    "It's going to be delightful to watch who blinks first in the cowardly [Justin Trudeau] versus his own people staring match. My money isn't on blackface," mocked Laurence Fox, referring to the Canadian prime minister. "A great shift is coming. Not just Covid, but the whole tyrannical woke religion. People have had enough."

    "What a complete coward," criticized Lisa Boothe. "He won't even face the citizens he has discriminated against."

    "Is there a more gutless and cowardly display than a tyrant on the run?" said Republican Rep. Chip Roy (TX), adding the hashtag, #DeportTrudeau.

    Not only have tens of thousands of truckers joined in on the Freedom Convoy to protest COVID-19 vaccine mandates, but literally millions of dollars have been raised for the cause by supporters. As of Sunday afternoon, the fund for the truckers has reached over $8.7 million.

    "We are a peaceful country that has helped protect nations across the globe from tyrannical governments who oppressed their people, and now it seems it is happening here," the GoFundMe account reads. "We are taking our fight to the doorsteps of our Federal Government and demanding that they cease all mandates against its people. Small businesses are being destroyed, homes are being destroyed, and people are being mistreated and denied fundamental necessities to survive."

    "It's our duty as Canadians to put an end to this [sic] mandates. It is imperative that this happens because if we don't our country will no longer be the country we have come to love. We are doing this for our future Generations and to regain our lives back."
