Press Release:

    Hey There,

Joe Biden continues to tank in North Carolina, as a new High Point University poll revealed the President's 35% approval rating among voters in the Tar Heel State. The poll comes as North Carolina is set to be a major battleground state for the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) in terms of state legislative and State Supreme Court races.

The poll form High Point University states,

  • The HPU Poll asked North Carolinians on their approval of how President Biden is handling several different issues. About one-third of respondents said they approved of his handling of COVID-19 (40%), education (34%), health care in general (33%), the environment in general (31%), foreign policy in general (30%) and climate change (30%). Fewer respondents approved of President Biden's handling of the war in Ukraine (28%), the economy in general (26%), inflation (19%) and gas prices (18%).
  • About three out of five (63%) of North Carolinians said the country is off on the wrong track. Just more than one-quarter (26%) of those same respondents said the country is headed in the right direction.

"Saying that President Biden is underwater in North Carolina is an understatement," said RSLC Deputy Communications Director Mason Di Palma. "These latest poll numbers show that Biden and his radical leftist agenda are out of touch with the values that North Carolinians share. North Carolina Democrats will suffer in November for continuing to stand with the President's failing policy initiatives."
