Governor Cooper Statement on Supreme Court Overturning Roe v. Wade | Eastern North Carolina Now | RALEIGH: Today, Governor Roy Cooper issued the following statement:

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Press Release:

RALEIGH: Today, Governor Roy Cooper issued the following statement:

"For 50 years, women have relied on their constitutional right to make their own medical decisions, but today that right has been tragically ripped away. That means it's now up to the states to determine whether women get reproductive health care, and in North Carolina they still can. I will continue to trust women to make their own medical decisions as we fight to keep politicians out of the doctor's exam room."

Problem is what they are making a decision about is not their body. The unborn child has its own DNA that is not identical to that of the mother.

To be diplomatic in my assessment of what Authoritarian Cooper professes here to be real is that Ole Coop is consistent, if nothing else, when he gives lip service to the United States Constitution.

He proves again and again that he is not that sharp when it comes to interpreting the original law of this land, of this People.
