TRUMP Report Card (10-4-22) | Eastern North Carolina Now

As President Trump so aptly said, “Our destiny beyond the earth is not only a matter of national identity, but a matter of national security.”  In early 2018, President Trump announced his intention to form a seventh branch of the military.  He did so with the purpose of concentrating on space.  He described space as, “The world's newest war-fighting domain.”  He also knew our space program was on life-support.  The previous administration had cut NASA’s planetary budget by 20% in 2013.  That was just a portend of what was to come.  Although not totally defunded, NASA is currently given barely enough to keep up with inflation.  However, private enterprise has stepped up and is doing a massive amount to keep us competitive in space.  Never the less, sensitive government operations should still be under the purview of the United States of America.  President Trump knew that, and by making it part of the military, it became funded just as the other branches of the military are funded, and that is through the Department of Defense budget.  President Trump knew that our dominance in space was vital to the protection of the American people, and so on December 20, 2019, the U.S. Space Force was established.  Then, our new Space Force was included in the National Defense Authorization act, and was signed into law with bipartisan support.  President Trump’s belief in this action was encapsulated in his statement when he said, "Amid grave threats to our national security, American superiority in space is absolutely vital.  The Space Force will help us deter aggression and control the ultimate high ground.”  (It was wise of President Trump to seek to enshrine the U.S. Space Force funding in law.  That makes it much harder to reverse by enemies of the American people.  Another "A+," Mr. President!)

In addition to national defense, the domestic importance of Space Force becomes more obvious in the area of election integrity.  Space Force monitors Internet traffic.  The importance of that cannot be overstated.  The shenanigans that are taking place in some of these United States during elections can be more transparent because of this feature.  Many websites and Internet information areas tell us repeatedly that we carry tracking devices.  But guess what?  So do the criminals.  Perhaps they have forgotten that they are as vulnerable in that area as we are.  The introduction of information gathering from space may be the key that unlocks the mystery of stolen elections.  Once again, President Trump was miles ahead of the criminal syndicate in the area of space defense and the means of protecting the American people.  Even though he does not come from the world of politics, he understands the moves and countermoves of that mindset better than they do.  His knowledge and expertise in that arena kept us out of war for four years and elevated our political standing throughout the world.  He conversed with world leaders and encouraged them to put their country and their people first just as he was doing.  Tensions eased and friendships were forged.  (President Trump's understanding of human nature is reminiscent of our founders, and has helped him earn many "A+" grades and the deep appreciation of We the People.)   It seems so long ago, but it has been less than two years since we were thriving.  The return to that time could happen if we choose correctly in the November midterm election and if we come out to vote in such massive numbers on Election Day that there isn't enough room to alter the outcome by cheating.  (Are we going to earn our "A+" grades, Patriots?)  However, the power of the purse still rests in the hands of the legislature, and if they do not exercise that power, nothing will change.  Our job does not stop at the ballot box because our legislators need to be reminded often that they represent us, and they have two years to prove it.

The rally schedule is intensifying.  On Saturday, October 8th, President Trump will be in Minden, Nevada to rally for all Trump endorsed candidates including Joe Lombardo for governor and Adam Laxalt for the U.S. Senate.  Then, on Sunday, October 9th, a rally will be held in Mesa, Arizona in support of Kari Lake for Governor of Arizona and Blake Masters for U.S. Senate as well as the entire Trump ticket.  At his rally last week in Michigan, a fiery President Trump called the current administration tyrants.  He said that if we don’t want to live under tyranny, the time to stand up is RIGHT NOW, so let's stand up, Patriots!  No matter how far our nation has fallen, President Trump still believes in us, and if we work together, The Best Is Yet To Come!
