‘Absolute Dereliction Of Duty’: Kamala Pushes Mass Amnesty, Blasts Migrant Busing On Late Night TV | Eastern North Carolina Now

    "Border czar" Vice President Kamala Harris' big plan to stop illegal immigration is to enact mass amnesty.

    Promising citizenship to millions who break the law in hopes of deterring people at the border makes little to no sense, but neither does much of what Harris had to say on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" Monday evening.

    "I just think it's an absolute dereliction of duty," Harris said in response to conservative governors sending migrants to sanctuary cities and other Democratic enclaves. The veep, or any Democrat really, has never explained why liberal towns would declare themselves open for all "refugees" if they didn't have the actual resources to welcome dozens of individuals from the southern border in the first place.

    Contrary to all evidence, Harris told funny-man Meyers that the Trump administration and anti-amnesty Republicans are to blame for the current illegal alien invasion.

    "If you see a problem, and if we agree that we need to address it, then if you're a leader, participate in a solution, right?" she added. "When we first came in office, the first bill that we proposed was for a pathway for citizenship - was to fix a broken immigration system, which was broken under the previous administration."

    Biden's idea of fixing a "broken immigration system" was to sign executive orders suspending deportations, canceling former President Donald Trump's "Remain in Mexico" policy, halting construction of the border wall, and reversing an executive order from Trump directing the federal government "to employ all lawful means to enforce the immigration laws of the United States."

    Advocating amnesty was only icing on the cake. The result of such policies has been millions of illegal aliens crossing the border, and if caught, released into the interior of the U.S. as they're trusted in good faith to show up for their asylum court hearings.

    As Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) pointed out on Monday, what critics of GOP governors also ignore is that Biden himself has shipped migrants all around the country.

    "When the people that are doing the condemnation didn't say anything when the President, in the early hours of night, was sending people all over the country by airplane and trying to hide it," Grassley said. "These Governors aren't trying to hide it, they're trying to bring attention to the major problems for their states that the President not enforcing the law is doing to their economy and state budgets."

    Instead, it would appear that Democrats want border states to shoulder 100% of the problem exacerbated by feckless border policies.

    "Just think of what that signal sends from Texas, Arizona, and Florida, it's not 'just a Texas problem,' or a 'border states problem,'" Grassley added. "It affects all 50 states because these people are going to end up in all 50 states in large numbers or small numbers."

    Regardless, Harris told conservatives that they should "participate in the solution because we are offering solutions," claiming that we get "gamesmanship with real human beings who trust us."

    Yet Harris isn't offering solutions for border security. Nothing she proposes will reduce illegal immigration.

    Instead, as observed Saturday, she's offering plans to shore up a new Democratic voting bloc by the millions. You don't have to be a political scientist to suspect she and her colleagues only want amnesty because they think it will help them stay in power.
