A Las Vegas woman who reportedly left a restaurant without paying in August, then claimed she was arrested because "officers were perverts and were trying to rape her" as she was so pretty is now accused of murdering her mother.

In August, Hend Bustami, 28, was arrested at the Harry Reid International Airport after reportedly leaving a Chili's restaurant without paying her bill. After a search, police were notified by TSA that a woman matching the description of the suspect was sleeping near the security checkpoint. The police discovered Bustami in the baggage claim area.

According to the police report, Bustami stated that she was arrested because of her good looks, KTLA reported. She declared "that she was going to spit on all [the officers] and that officers were perverts and were trying to rape her because they [had] never seen anyone as good looking."

At roughly 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, Bustami's 62-year-old mother's body was found with "deep lacerations" in a home. Hend Bustami was apprehended at roughly 5 a.m. in Barstow, California.

The Las Vegas Metro Police stated that the department had received a call from someone claiming a person was injured in the residence. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found an unresponsive female "suffering from multiple lacerations." The police's homicide department investigated and stated an apparent verbal dispute between Bustami and her mother had occurred.

"Bustami will be charged with open murder and extradited back to Clark County," the police statement said.

Bustami worked as a DJ under the name Afrodyte. On her Facebook page, she wrote in July:

The choices we make in life, can often lead us down an interesting windy road. A road we often didn't think we would find ourself walking down alone. It is not a reflection of who you are solely but the places you've been and the people you've encountered along the way. There's a lesson in everything we do and often times we must endure the impossible and the most painful of situations even when we feel like we cannot at the moment or aren't strong enough to withstand yet another blow.

Find confidence in your struggles and let them empower you. Embrace your resilience. You may cry or scream or be in the pain the whole time, just don't forget to keep going. #keepswimming #myfishes #todaysanotherday

any day above ground is a day to be thankful for. Please keep ya chin up.

Bustami graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with a degree in Hospitality Administration and Management, her LinkedIn account claims, The Daily Mail reported.
