Gisele Bündchen Rumored To Have New Boyfriend After Photogs Snap Costa Rica Pics | Eastern North Carolina Now

Gisele Bündchen is being romantically tied to her Jiu-Jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, after paparazzi spied the pair in Costa Rica, but a pal of the supermodel says they're not an item.

Bündchen finalized her split from NFL quarterback Tom Brady last month. The pair married in 2009, but went through a very public breakup that culminated in an announcement last month that they are divorcing. Word that Bündchen had found a new suitor spread on social media, but a source told Fox News Digital Monday it's not a romance.

"None of it's true," the source said. "This is the kids' and Gisele's longtime martial arts teacher. There's no truth to any dating rumors."

The report noted that Valente was not the only instructor with the group, which in total included six adults and eight kids.

Brady has not directly reacted to the photos, either, but a source reportedly told TMZ the photos are "weird," questioning "why this Miami guy is in Costa Rica with her."

"It always seemed weird she just one day abruptly ended the marriage," the source added.

Bündchen in February posted video working out with Valente in a gym. "I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox the better," she captioned the post. "I feel stronger, more confidence and empowered since I started practicing self-defense. I feel it's an important skill for all, but [especially] for us women. Thank you @ValenteBrothers for being awesome teachers and for making training so much fun. I am looking forward to keep improving. Let's go!"

Additionally, a video post from the Valente Brothers' Instagram account four days ago shows Bündchen working with the team.

While Bündchen and Brady officially called it quits last month, trouble was publicly brewing back in September. Notably, Bündchen told Elle magazine at the time that she was not happy with Brady's decision to un-retire at age 45.

"Obviously I have my concerns - this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present," the model told the magazine. "I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for them. He needs to follow his joy, too."

"I've done my part, which is to be there for [Tom]," Bündchen continued. "I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams," she said. "I feel very fulfilled in that way, as a mother and as a wife. And now it's going to be my turn."
