Newsletter I received from Tillis:

Why I voted NO on the $1.7 trillion omnibus

Friends,

It’s Senator Thom Tillis here. I just voted AGAINST the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill. North Carolina families have been hit hard by out-of-control inflation and have been forced to cut back on spending and make sacrifices. It’s time for Congress to start doing the same.

The omnibus contains billions of dollars of wasteful spending and left-wing priorities. And as our nation faces a crisis at the border created by the Biden administration, the omnibus even included a provision that binds the hands of Border Patrol, preventing any funding from being used to “acquire, maintain or extend border security tech and capabilities.” That’s seriously in the bill text!

With a new majority taking control of the House in January, I hope that Congress can start doing its job and get back to good government and fiscal responsibility.

I hope this message finds you well, and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

All the best,

Better to pay attention to what he does that what he says as they are in most cases 2 different things.  Actions speak louder than words.

What a baldfaced LIAR Tillis is. In fact, Tillis was the only Republican to help Schumer obliterate the biggest obstacle to passing the omnibus. dailyhaymaker.com
