This article discloses where Frankie Waters obtained some of his campaign funds for his election to the Beaufort County Commission during the 2022 election. Disclosing this information is a task I am reluctant to perform. However, Fake Frankie Waters went to the trouble of publishing a list of donors to The Beaufort County Conservative Republican PAC. He spread the information to all who would look at it. Therefore, turn about is fair play.
A great many of the people in this listing are friends of mine, just like a great many of the people who donated to the Beaufort County Conservative PAC are friends of Fake Frankie. I hope those who are friends on both sides remain friends.
I respect the right of any person to donate to any candidate he desires. Normally all parties in politics respect others rights without making a public issue of individual contributions. I shall continue that respect except when decorum is violated by people like Fake Frankie who have unusual personality traits.
All donations in elections of more than fifty dollars are public information with filings required at very specific times by the board of elections. The law also limits the amount of money or in-kind service that can be donated to candidates. The intent of the law was to have free ad fair elections because wealthy people were literally buying elections for super liberal candidates.
However, there is a way around the law. Big donors set up PACS (Political Action Committees) and spend millions to elect individual candidates. This is legal provided there is no collusion (communication) between the candidate and the PAC. All moneys spent by the candidate, his supporters and the PACs are required to be reported to the Board of Elections and that information becomes public information, It is available just for the asking.
Public information is how Fake Frankie, member of the Republican Executive Committee, got caught donating money to Democrats. Donating to the other side is the moral equivalent to treason if you are a member of an executive committee.
This list is not in alphabetical order nor is it arranged by amount donated. We do not represent that this list has all donors listed. It is a compilation of some filings. If errors are proven, we will print a correction.

With all the money Frankie collected, one would think he would have gotten far more votes, and not come in a distant third, especially with no other Democrat, as would be his main competition, besides Booth in the race.
Hopefully, this will be a trend in Beaufort County: More Beaufort County Republicans and Independents voting for real Republicans, like they did for Tandy and myself in the 2022 general election.
I still believe if there had been a strong Democrat in the race, these vote totals would have changed dramatically, and then Frankie Waters Donor's money would have been even poorer spent.
In the next election cycle, there will not only be a bigger, stronger beaufortcountynow.com , but a finely burnished 56patriots.com that will also cover the region, and that platform will have more power than any we have produced to date.
