The Palestinian Authority is rewarding terrorists who have targeted Jews in Israel with the construction of a luxury village.

The Arab Fund for Development in Africa and the Islamic Development Bank are also funding the project, which will feature 100 homes built near Ofra in the biblical area of Samaria, an area considered part of Area B, meaning that the Palestinian Authority (PA) has civilian control but the Israel Defense Forces maintain security. In order to be eligible to live in the luxury area, the terrorists must have spent at least five years in an Israeli prison.

"The dream of every murderer of Israelis," one Israeli reporter wrote, noting that the view from the area will include British Police Junction where in 2002, a Palestinian terrorist murdered ten Jews.

The executive committee of the neighborhood reportedly includes Ablah Saadat, the wife of Ahmed Saadat, the secretary general of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and Naim Al-Sharif, the father of a Hamas terrorist.

Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) reported in 2022 that the PA spent at least $270.75 million in rewards to terrorists in 2021. The outlet also reported that released terrorists were given priority in annual appointments to PA positions, released terrorists who spent 1-5 years in prison were entitled to receive unemployment benefits for the same amount of time as their sentence, and released terrorists who spent 5- 10 years in prison were entitled to receive a fixed monthly salary.

Palestinian terrorist attacks on Jews and others in Jerusalem have proliferated since the installation of Israel's new tough, Right-wing government. On January 27, seven Jews, including a 14-year-old boy, were murdered by a Palestinian terrorist after they left Shabbat services at a synagogue. Among the dead were Natali and Eli Mizrahi, who were newly married. Natali was reportedly doing CPR on one of the victims when she was shot to death.

On February 10, three Jews were murdered, including two brothers ages six and eight, by a man who rammed them with his vehicle at a bus stop. According to police, a 31-year-old Palestinian attacked the crowd while driving a blue Mazda near the Tomb of Samuel at about 1:30 p.m., killing Alter Shlomo Laderman, Yaakov Israel Palley, and Asher Menachem Pelley. Yaakov died on Friday from the attack, his brother died on Saturday.

"During Shabbat, the 8-year-old Asher Menachem Pally, who was critically wounded in the Ramot attack, passed away," the Shaare Zedek medical center said. "The boy arrived in critical condition on CPR and many teams from the trauma unit, from the ER, the pediatric intensive care, pediatric surgery, and neurosurgery fought for his life for many hours, but sadly they had to pronounce him dead."
