Mr. Dallas was born in Blounts Creek, in Beaufort County on March 27, 1937, to the late Dean Wilber Toler and the late Reba Paramore Toler. He attended Aurora High School. On November 15, 1957, he married the former Faye O'Ham, who preceded him in death on March 2, 2022, after sixty-five years of marriage. He retired from PCS Phosphate Co. in Aurora as a Specialist but continued to work in the electrical and HVAC field as the owner and operator of Toler's Electric. Mr. Dallas had a servant's heart. His willingness to help others did not stop with the Fire and Rescue but extended far beyond just the Blounts Creek Community. He loved his Lord and Savior. He served as a Trustee and Deacon for Smyrna Free Will Baptist Church. At Smyrna he oversaw all maintenance work and ran their audio/video equipment. He was a "jack of all trades" and will be dearly missed in the community. He was a member of Coastal Plains Car Club.
