DailyWire+ released the official trailer and announced a September 8 release date for its hotly anticipated 10-part true crime series, "Convicting a Murderer." The series is hosted by Daily Wire firebrand host, Candance Owens and is directed by Shawn Rech ("A Murder in the Park").

The Netflix series "Making a Murderer" portrayed convicted criminal Steven Avery as an innocent victim of corrupt law enforcement in the murder of Teresa Halbach.

"Netflix made millions of dollars from 'Making a Murderer,' but the filmmakers left out very important details," says Owens in the trailer. "[There are] Mountains of evidence that you have not yet seen ... I'm not going to make the same mistake that the filmmakers did. ... How could they claim to care about the truth?"

In "Convicting a Murderer," Candace Owens sets the record straight by taking a closer look at the blood in the victim's vehicle, the infamous key, and more. The series unearths shocking, unedited phone calls and testimonials that reveal the side of the story not covered in Making a Murderer. The 10-episode true crime series contains exclusive interviews with subjects not included in the Netflix show, including law enforcement officers, family members, and fans-turned-investigators whose lives have been profoundly impacted by the case.

DailyWire+ will debut the first three episodes of the series on its platform on September 8 with the first two episodes streaming for free and the third episode available for DailyWire+ members. Episode one will also be available to view on the DailyWire+ YouTube channel as well as on X, formerly Twitter. The remaining seven episodes will debut weekly on the subscriber-based streaming service every Thursday.
