War on History: Southerners unwelcome at National Cathedral in DC | Eastern NC Now

Southerners are now unwelcome at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC which has gone "woke" embraced cancel culture, and joined the War on History to insult the South.  Stained glass windows honoring Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson were removed and replaced with windows showing a bunch of protesters.  What utter rubbish.  If they wanted to honor protesters, they could have found other windows to use to do it.  Those running the National Cathedral  are rabidly anti-South and therefore should be compelled to take the word "national" out of their name.  Maybe it should be replaced with "Progressive" or "Marxist" or "Woke".

Robert E. Lee freed hundreds of slaves he inherited from his father-in-law and wrote in 1859 that "slavery is an institution of moral and political evil."   Stonewall Jackson never owned slaves, but founded through his church and personally taught a program to teach black people to read and write.  After joining the army, Jackson send a part of every military paycheck home to keep that program running.  That was probably the first black literacy program in the South.

Whatr the National Cathedral has done is shameful.
