WATCH: Jordan Peterson Tells Bill Maher The Left Got ‘Oppressor’ Narrative Wrong On Israel And Consequences Will ‘Unfold Pretty Brutally’ | Eastern North Carolina Now

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson stunned Bill Maher's live audience earlier this month when he declared that leftists got their typical "oppressor, oppressed" narrative wrong on the Israel-Hamas war and that the consequences will unfold "brutally."

The clinical psychologist and Daily Wire+ host told Maher that leftists have decided Palestinians are the "victims" and, therefore, "morally righteous."

"One of the things the Democrats also have to pay the price for, I would say, is their absolute refusal to draw a line between the moderate Democrats and the extremists. They're completely incapable of doing that," Peterson said during his November 10 appearance on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher."

Peterson said he has asked 40 members of Congress the same question, "When does the Left go too far?"

"Well we certainly bloody well saw it in the last month, didn't we? Cause they got the oppressor, oppressed narrative a little mucked up, we might say. And the consequences of that are going to unfold pretty brutally over the next few months," Peterson said.

Peterson said that in the context of the war between Israel and Palestinian terror group Hamas, "leftists have already decided the Palestinians are the victims."

"If you're a victim, then you're morally righteous. And even more conveniently, if you stand for the victim then you're morally righteous regardless of what you do with your own life," Peterson said.

On October 7, Hamas launched deadly terrorist attacks on Israel that killed more than 1,200 people, including women and children. Israel has responded with airstrikes and a ground offensive.

The problematic worldview festers on university campuses, Peterson explained.

"Part of the reason that you see all this foolishness on university campuses too is because people have bought this idiot meta-Marxism, which is that the way to look at every social relationship that people ever have is through the lens of power," Peterson said.

"And we can put that squarely at the feet of the universities as far as I'm concerned - marriage is a patriarchal institution, and business is nothing but oppression, and you have to view every single situation that emerged historically as oppressor vs. oppressed," the best-selling author continued. "And then once you get that, which you can get in about two minutes if you sit in a course that teaches that sort of thing, you have a lens to moralize about the whole world through."

"And that's at the hands of the radical Left too, Bill," he told Maher.

Considering what real news is available for all to witness, and in great specificity, should one pursue what is true outside of the channeled realm of the corrupt corporate /legacy media, and: Is Institutionalized Corruption real, and is it a hindrance to sustaining our Constitutional Republic now, and for future generations of American citizens?
  Yes
  No
  Not sure

It has been far too many years since the Woke theology interlaced its canons within the fabric of the Indoctrination Realm, so it is nigh time to ask: Does this Representative Republic continue, as a functioning society of a self-governed people, by contending with the unusual, self absorbed dictates of the Woke, and their vast array of Victimhood scenarios?
Yes, the Religion of Woke must continue; there are so many groups of underprivileged, underserved, a direct result of unrelenting Inequity; they deserve everything.
No; the Woke fools must be toppled from their self-anointed pedestal; a functioning society of a good Constitutional people cannot withstand this level of "existential" favoritism as it exists now.
I just observe; with this thoughtful observation: What will happen "when the Vikings are breeching our walls;" how do the Woke react?

A majority of Americans still believe in OUR 1st Amendment guaranteed Freedom of Speech; however, at what bold point does the constitutional right to Free Speech becomes unabashed anti-Semitic Hate Speech, and while it should possibly be tolerated on our college campuses, and on the streets of mostly Sanctuary Cities, these events should be rightfully observed and scrupulously monitored ... or, not? What is your true opinion of when too much of enough is just too much, or not?
The answer to Free Speech I don't agree with is more, and incredibly robust Free Speech.
There is a point when Free Speech becomes counter productive to sustaining a peaceful society.
Free Speech should only be tolerated if it represents the status quo of the highly educated orthodoxy.
Early in life, I learned to speak only when I am spoken to.

26 days after the October 7th Terror attacks on Israel, where over 1400 Jewish men, women and children were gruesomely murdered, and hundreds more made hostage: Should the Biden /Harris administration finally state that the administration's primary Middle East negotiating partner, Iran, is behind the funding and strategy of the aggressors, the Hamas Terrorists, or continue to take the more moderate position of "Don't," which is clearly not working?
Yes, name Iran as the funding /strategy culprit, and begin to enforce the President Trump era sanctions to END Iran's ability to prosecute this war against Israel and the United States.
No, Iran is a valuable partner in the motives of the Biden / Harris administration, and must not be named as the culprit and our enemy.
I have larger concerns just to survive in this economy.
