Some years ago, Hungarians started calling the Euopean Union (EU) the "EUSSR" due to authoritarian policies that resemble the old USSR. As its policies clamp down even more on personal freedom, it also might be dubbed the Fourth Reich.

The latest totalitarian move is to severely clamp down on free speech, with the left leaning majority in the EU parliament voting to make "hate speech" an EU "crime". That term is vague enough to be applied to any speech that goes against the establishment narrative. Free speech is essential to functioning democracy, so as free speech is now dead in the EU, so is democracy. So now, if you disagree with the establishment's narrative, you risk prison. Already, a former Interior Minister in Fnland's government has been prosecuted for posting Bible verses online.

"Hate speech" is a eupemism used by totalitarians who hate free speech and want to deny it to citizens.

One goal of this totalitarian law is to silence widespread opposition to the invasion of Europe by illegal alien "asylum seekers". Indeed, the EU parliament has already opened an investigation of one of its own members, Tom Vandendresissche of the populist nationalist Vaams Balang Party of Belgium for his comments in a debate on the subject. This comes at a time that Vaams Balang and another populist nationalist party in Belgium are riding high in the polls and likely to be able to form a majority coalition after the country's March election.

And, don't look now, but the Biden Democrats have the very same goals in attacking free speech in the US. It is just part of their totalitarian ways.

Yes, there is a war on free speech, and it is being waged by the globalists in all western countries, including the USA. The Biden regime is in the thick of it, although not as far along as those in Europe. Free speech is the fundamental bedrock of individual liberty and must be protected at all costs. The globalists, including Biden, are the threat to democracy in our society.
