Saving democracy: promoting free speech and ending censorship key Trump goal | Eastern NC Now

one of first major Trump policy statements

ENCNow

In his push to save democracy, President Trump in one of his first policy statements has vowed to end government-induced censorship of free speech.  The states of Missouri and Louisiana have an ongling lawsuit against Joe Biden's use of government power against the free speech of American citizens, so this is a huge change of position for the federal government.

Free speech is essential to democracy, as without it, democracy cannot exist.  Free speech is now under serious attack by globalist politicians around the world.  They try to denounce anything that deviates from the official government narrative as "misinformation", "disinformation", "malinformation", or "hate speech".

"If we don't have free speech, then we do not have a free country," Trump declared. "It's as simple as that."

The Biden regime has even worked with a globalist NGO in the UK to censor Americans:

Thanks to Trump's victory, we are not likely to enter the "thought crime" hell currently imposed on the UK, where a journalist for a leading newspaper, the "Daily Telegraph" of London is being investigated by police for a "non-crime hate incident" for a year old social media post where they will not specify the post or what it said or who was "offended"

Free speech was on the ballot on November 5, and free speech won. Thank goodness.
