26% increase in arctic sea ice does not fit climate alarmist narrative | Eastern NC Now

Sea ice in the arctic has been a staple of climate alarmist shrill scare stories for years.  For example, in one of the numerous Chicken Little scaremongering stories by the media, the BBC claimed in 2007 that all of the arctic sea ice would be gone by 2013.  Like every one of the climate alarmist scare stories that has had a "sell by" date that has already passed, this one did not happen either.

In fact the opposite is happening,  The 2024 survey of arctic sea ice shows that it has actually INCREASED by 26% since 2012.  But the climate alarmists at the MSM do not want to tell viewers about that.  Nor do they want to tell the public that surface temperatures in Greenland have fallen for the last 20 years.  Inconvenient truths that destroy their narrative of gloom and doom are swept under the rug by the climate alarmists and their mouthpieces in the lying MSM.

But leftwing politicians still push this wacky climate alarmist agenda.  New York State, for example, has just passed a law to "fine" energy companies $75 Billion for CO2 emissions after the fact and New York bureaucrats will decide which companies to fine.  It is likely they will all be American, and certainly not a one from the number one emitter of CO2, Red China.  One would hope that energy companies get together and give New York an ultimatum to repeal this asinine law by a given date or face a total boycott on any energy products being sent to the state.  If New York climate whackadoodles want to play hardball with energy companies, they should play hardball back.
