Conservatives have 21 point lead in the polls
Canada's Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced his resignation after crashing poll numbers and the loss of key Liberal "safe seats" in parliament in special elections in Toronto and Quebec city. Trudeau has been the golden boy of the globalist WEF and hated by freedom loving people for his brutal totalitarian style crackdown on the Canadian truckers' Freedom Convoy protests.
Canada must hold a parliamentary election by October, but the Conservative Party is demanding a snap election immediately. The Conservatives, then under centrist leadership, were edged out by Trudeau in the last election. Since then, they have moved right and installed new leadership under small "c" Conservative Pierre Poiliievre. The Conservatives, who are going after Trudeau's party on immigration and on its onerous green agenda, now have a 21 point lead in the polls.
Trudeau's Liberals will name a new leader in the coming weeks, and the date for a new election will not be known until that process is complete. If the hard left New Democrats cooperate, a vote of no confidence may leave no choice but a snap election. Political wagers on the Polymarket give Pierre Poilievre a 93% chance of being Canada's next prime minister.

The MSM is crediting Trump with Trudeau's departure, but they clearly have not been paying attention to what has been happening in Canadian politics over the last 18 months. His former alliance partners the New Democrats want him out and even much of his own party. So do the Canadian people who are tired of him.

Canada's immigration problem under Trudeau has mostly been on legal immigration where Trudeau relaxed the standards and started letting hordes of Third Worlders in. Prior to Trudeau, Canada's immigration laws required immigrants to speak good English and pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and to possess a skill that the Canadian economy needed. If an immigrant met those too requirements, they were admitted. There were no quotas and it did not matter where they were from, but they had to speak the language to a good standard and have a skill to contribute to the Canadian economy and support themselves. Trudeau relaxed the standards and has been letting in hordes of people who do not meet either standard. Polls show the country is not sick of that policy.
