Mrs. LeeAnn Jamison Greene, age 64, a resident of Belhaven, NC passed away Saturday March 15, 2025, at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

    Mrs. LeeAnn Jamison Greene, age 64, a resident of Belhaven, NC passed away Saturday March 15, 2025, at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

    A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday March 29, 2025 at West Belhaven Church of Christ officiated by Pastor James Scheffler. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

    LeeAnn was born in Wake County, NC on June 10, 1960, daughter of the late James Lee Jamison, Sr. and the late Mary Ann Creech Jamison. She was a graduate of John A. Wilkinson High School and served her country in the U.S. Marine Corp. While she served as a marine, she was a secretary to the General. After her service to her country, she worked at Chowan Social Services and locally was office secretary of Swain Gas Company in Belhaven. Along with her official occupation she worked at the Chamber of Commerce for Belhaven for two years. On October 3, 2009, she married David Peter Greene who survives. In her spare time, she loved painting and gardening.

    Survivors include her husband David of the home; children: Anthony James Sayas, Jr. and his wife Jessica of Pantego, Alaina Nicole Brown and her husband Christopher of Tarboro, Rachel Greene and her partner Lazaro Rodrigues of Virginia Beach and Shannon Greene and her fiancé Trey Likes of Decatur, IN; brother: James "Cotton" Jamison, Jr. and his wife Susan of Chocowinity; eight grandchildren; and an special aunt and uncle: Ruth Grant and Garland Grant. Her dog, Peety, was her favorite. She was predeceased, along with her parents, by a brother: Jerry Jamison; a sister: Ruthie Price; and a stepfather: Billy Jefferson.

    LeeAnn was the definition of a sweet, sassy, Southern belle. She was a hard-working soul, a warrior, a champion. She would do anything she could to help out those around her and her smile would always brighten your day. She was bright and vibrant, kind, funny, supportive and so incredibly loving. LeeAnn was a stable, foundational block for everyone in her family, an endless source of love. She was always a place for a warm hug, advice, and cheerleading like no other. LeeAnn's grandchildren were the greatest joy of her life, they were always painting, playing in the yard, or riding the golf cart together. She had a close relationship with the Lord and believed that through him all things are possible. She will be truly missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known her.
