Democrat activist judges try to block Trump tariffs, then are overruled by Appeals Ct | Eastern NC Now

Judicial insurrection stopped in this instance

ENCNow

The Judicial wing of the Democrat Party strikes again, but it is a misfire.

A panel of three Democrat activist judges on the US International Trade Court tried to take away President Trump's tariff powers but were quickly overruled by the US Court of Appeals which restored those powers, staying the Trade Court order.  One of the judges involved was an Obama judge, and two were Democrat judges appointed by Republican presidents who had to appoint Democrats due to a law that no more than half of the court's judges could be from one political party.

All three of the judges involved have been long time Democrat activists, going back as long as 45 years.  They then brought that partisan activism to their role as judges, something that is very very wrong with our courts these days.
