Warning for America - sad case of Germany getting woke, going broke | Eastern NC Now

The chancellorship of Angela Merkel saw two major changes that are now haunting Germany's future, the introduction of open borders and the heavy promotion of radical "climate" policies.  In America, the Biden regime was attempting to follow Merkel's path, but the voters cut that short.  While America under Trump is recovering, the chances for Germany are not very promising.  Where this may first be evident is in their creaking pension system.

Merkel throwing open Germany borders to illegal alien migrant "asylum seekers" has resulted in a huge financial burden.  "Asylum seekers" now consume 63% of Germany's welfare budget.  They also put a huge burden of Germany's public security budget due to exploding crime among migrants.  Recent reports from Germany's Criminal Police have shown that Algerian youths in Germany are 56 times more likely to commit a crime than a German youth.  For Syrian youth it is five times more likely, and for Morroccan youth 19 times more likely.

The impact of Merkel's "Energy Transition" climate policy is even worse, hollowing out German industry.  With electric rates among the highest in the world due to reliance on expensive wind and solar instead of conventional energy, companies are cutting back and in many cases moving production out of Germany.  This, is turn, has a big impact on jobs, and on present workers being able to cover the costs of Germany's pension plan.  Already, Germany is having to massively transfer funds from its budget to cover the costs of its pension plan.  The question now is how long even that will be sustainable.
