In a significant move in the fightback against the far left's War on History, two key southern statues will be returning to the nation's capital, thanks to the Trump administration. The extreme left has been attempting to erase southern history.
The Reconciliation Monument, which stood in the Confederate section of Arlington National Cemetery will be restored under an agreement reached with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. The monument which symbolized reconciliation between the north and south had been removed by the Biden regime.
The statute of Confederate General and western explorer Albert Pike that stood on Judiciary Square in Washington will also be restored to its original place, the US Park Service has announced. The statue had been torn down and damaged by BLM insurrectionists during the summer riots of 2020. The Park Service has repaired the damage done by the insurrectionists.

American Indians might have something to say about BLM destroying the monument to Brigadier General Albert Pike. Prior to the War Between the States, Pike was the first attorney in the United States to sue the federal government on behalf of an Indian tribe, the Creek Nation, to try to recover Indian lands confiscated by the federal government. General Pike negotiated treaties with several tribes in what is now Oklahoma but was then known as the Indian Territory on behalf of the Confederate States which expanded the rights of the tribes, including giving each of them a seat in the Confederate Congress. The treaty with the Cherokees even granted them the right to statehood within the Confederate States if the south won.

When my representatives vote against reconciliation monuments and southern memorials I can no longer support them. It is a character issue for me.

The Beaufort County Commission considered a resolution to support saving this monument. I remember that fake "conservative" Randy Walker voted against that resolution and thus for the monument's removal. Didn't another county commission RINO also do that?
I also remember when RINO Congressman Greg Murphy voted on two separate votes to remove southern monuments from the Capitol, and the second time was AFTER Republican leaders from his district voted unanimously to urge him not to do so. |
