Charlotte light rail murderer had been released on No Cash Bail earlier | Eastern NC Now

A glaring connection between the far left's "social justice" agenda also called "restorative justice" and the horrible murder of a young Ukrainian woman on a light rail train in Charlotte is that the only reason that the murderer was on the streets was that he had been released from jail on an earlier crime on no cash bail.  There is now a campaign to fire the liberal magistrate who let him back on the street with no cash bond.

Unfortunately, the liberal "justice" system in Charlotte is rife with letting criminals back on the streets with minimal or no bond.  Indeed Charlotte received a $3.3 million grant from the leftwing MacArthur Foundation specifically to reduce the jail population of minority criminals.  They said their goal was "racial equity."

There is legislation being proposed in Congress to make judges and magistrates who release criminals on insufficient bonds personally liable if that criminal commits other crimes while out on bond.  The magistrate responsible for releasing this Charlotte murderer richly deserves not only firing but also being sued for wrongful death of this young innocent victim.  She is almost as responsible for this murder as the murderer himself.  North Carolina should also do this on a state level.

Meanwhile, the liberal media is upset at all the attention this murder is getting.
