Good Afternoon Everyone,
We continue to see favorable changes in the forecast for tropical system Imelda. Current forecast models are now suggesting Imelda will stall off the coast of Daytona Beach Florida as a Tropical Storm Tuesday morning, before moving east into the Atlantic.

Imelda's forecasted track will bring sustained North and Northeast winds between 10 and 15 mph with gust of 20 to 25 mph, Tuesday through Thursday.
- Our highest winds are forecasted to occur between 9am and 3pm Wednesday.

There will be a chance of light passing showers Monday and Tuesday with most areas of our county receiving about a 1/2 inch of rain.

Attached is our latest multi-slide briefing covering potential impacts associated with Tropical Storm Imelda and Hurricane Humberto.
Confidence is high regarding a long-duration and impactful swell event associated with Hurricane Humberto, with added impacts possible from Tropical Storm Imelda. Marine and coastal headlines are now in effect for areas where confidence in impacts is the highest. We still expect the peak impacts to be focused from Tuesday - Thursday.
Our next briefing is scheduled to be sent by 5:00 pm, Monday, September 29, 2025.
